If Call of Cthulhu was Gnomemurdered, you'd have a three-sided conflict. The hapless human investigators trying to preserve mankind and their fragile sanity; the cultists trying to summon the great old ones to bring about the end of man, and the Gnomes who want to make both humanity and Yog-sothoth their bitch. Who allies with who? Which is the lesser of two evils?

RPGPundit
yet another extra manual for the increasingly bloated most rules-lite RPG in the world. But as before, there won't be any new mechanics here.
Instead, many of the possibly BILLIONS of people who have now (possibly) played and enjoyed Gnomemurdered are asking "What is the default setting for Gnomemurdered"?
The answer is, of course, there is no "default setting". Gnomemurdered is a UNIVERSAL RPG system, made for ANY setting whatsoever.
The only thing you have to determine (besides the setting itself) is the question of where the Gnomes fit into the setting you're playing in.
In a couple of settings (mainly fantasy) this will be obvious. Though in these settings, you must determine first of all whether the Gnomes are known to exist, whether they are reviled for the filth they are, or whether they have managed to fool the local population into thinking they are either extinct or benign.
OK, I'll bite ...
If RuneQuest were GnomeMurdered, Glorantha wouldn't recognize the threat at first. While everyone else is poncing about with their Hero Wars, the gnomes would stealthily kill important figures first, exploiting their small size, their resemblance to Dwarfs, and name confusion with earth elementals. By the time the warring cults and cultures realized what was going on, it would be far too late to do anything. All would slide inexorably toward oblivion, even Chaos itself.
If GURPS were GnomeMurdered, all the Infinite Worlds would soon face the gnomish scourge. Every being, from the 25-point weakling to the 500-point demigod, would face the same horrible choice: do nothing and let the worlds slide into ruin, or gamble on their advantages, skills, and techniques. For, if they roll the dice and fail, they will surely be murdered by a gnome.
