This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Worst possible timing ever! I'll have to see if I can scrape up the cash to bid.

I thought fans of Erick Wujcik's Amber Diceless RPG might be interested to know that we have Amberzine 12 on sale on eBay here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110741467490

It is marked down from its original $60.00 price to $42.00 plus shipping.

This is one of those cases where a new thread would probably have been better than a necro of a thread from 2007. The first thing I did was to start clicking on links, then I realized that the original post was years old. :o

I have acquired 4 of the Amberzines over the years, and I would cautiously say they are worth the cover price, but not sure if they are worth the inflated price.

I ought to review and comment on the 4 I have, but generally they tend to be character write ups, convention reports and adverts for forth-coming convention appearances. Perhaps I am being a little harsh.

I own the entire set and I would agree with your assessment. I really wanted them becasue they were officially sanctioned by Erick but there essentially aren't any rules in them. They are just stories disguised as campaign logs.

I wouldn't want to part with them, but if I had to buy them again I'm not sure I would do so.

They are a set.

The actual content should in no way detract from the value and scarcity of these items. The fact that they were produced by Erick and published by Phage Press counts for everything.
