SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: RPGPundit;316862Well now, there's an interesting idea: I wonder if we could get some other publisher to make a play for Amber? Or barring that if there was some other way to release material for the Amber RPG?

RPGPundit

I know of at least one other publisher who did make an effort within the last year, but I don't think they got anywhere.

There's likely no legal issue with releasing free material for Amber in whatever form you'd like, but as soon as you do so for profit, you're going to more-than-likely get a cease-and-desist letter from Zelazny's estate.

We had a thread on this a while back.

THIS forum is the "free amber info Forum" (what with it being the ONLY OFFICIAL FORUM of the Amber RPG).  I welcome anyone to post anything at all about amber so long as its not going to violate any laws.

In my signature is a link to my own Amber discussion board, and we certainly can use space there if there is interest.
* Erick actually posted there a couple of times and kind of sanctioned it as well.
* As this is a "renegade" project it might be best to keep it under the radar more and not advertised on the "official" forum.

Just thinking out loud here.
