This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The Trumps as Tarot

I would say that's so for the REAL trumps, ie. the ones you use, that have power.
A "Trump deck", however, for use in divination, might also have pip cards and image cards that were not actual Trumps, that wouldn't really work, but would be included for tradition's sake, and those would certainly be based on the culture/ideology of those who created them.

Meaning a "full deck" of Amber trumps would be different from a "Full deck" of Chaos Trumps, and presumably if you made a Trump deck on earth, it would be just like the Tarot except for having Trumps of people in the Court Cards.

Drop the court cards repalce with Amberites not tied to any suit. Then add the major arcana.

Oh this game didn't have any of the traditional Older Amberites aside from Dworkin and Oberon

(and there is a code bug in that the same card can appear twice as I didn't use an array am was always too lazy to fix it)

Great job Jibbajibba ! One may relate to your choices or not but those are good looking cards for sure !

Yeah I went for the Italian style suit cards as opposed to a rider-waite style image for each card as that is historically more like the renaissance decks and it was much quicker to make the cards that way :-)
Anyone that says they woudl do it the other way hasn't had to do a deck for a game and keep it consistent and good looking (or they have loads of time on their hands)
