This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The Books Indexed

I am relatively new to the ADRPG albeit an kind of old fan of Amber.

As I am soon to start an new campaign in ADRGP (, my second) I was wonering if anybody had set up an index for the books, kind of sorting out passages and what they were about and were to find them. I just think that kind of resource would be a great help both for playing and quick finding references but also for piecing together campaigns and finding support for the elder Amberites personalities.

So the question is:

Does this exist or should I create it on my own?

I happen to know that The Great Book of Amber exists as an e-book floating out there in the ether. If (assuming you already own the books in hardcopy) this e-book were to come into your possession then I can see no great harm in your using it to perform keyword searches on whatever names or terms you wish, hypothetically-speaking, of course.

Oooh, if you do an Index, I'd love to see it. Might have to track down an e-book copy myself, for such purposes.
