This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hello everyone. I am pulling together an Amber DRPG in the Boston, Massacusetts area. If you are interested, or know someone who may be, please let me know.

Thank you.

If I can host (North Shore, Lynn), I may be able to participate.

That would be wonderful. Unfortunately, for most residents of the Boston area, if it's not T accessible it doesn't exist. Few of us own vehicles.

Tempted, I live south of Boston in Walpole. But I'm already in a Pathfinder group and my schedule is going to be uncertain at best. Particularly since winter is coming.
Yesterday I drove up to Rockport and while the town is real nice the drive around Boston on 95 is a drag.

Maybe you should run your game as a PbP game or Skype game.

In that case, you might consider posting something at Pademonium. I think they have a bulletin board there (they also hold games in the cellar on the weekends I think).

Yes, one of these days the T will hopefully connect to Lynn (they've been talking about this as long as I can remember), but in the mean time there is only the commuter rail.

Winter is aways ooming.

If I were looking to do a PbP or Skype, it woudn't matter where everyone was located. The Massachusetts issue itself would be a moot point.

Assuming people follow through with what they say, I already have more than sufficient local response for a group. But of course, plans often fail to coalesce.

I am also holding out some extra while because I was hoping someone had GM experience, and might be somewhat interested in that than I. I myself have no such experience, so it pains me to think of all the issues that would arise from my error. Of course, I'm the one trying to pull this together, so that might be silly of me.
