This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Playing Amber using Dice...

There are two interesting parallels that I see offhand between ADRP and GURPS:

1. Both use 4 primary attributes.
ADRP = Psyche, Strength, Endurance, Warfare
GURPS = IQ, Strength, Health, Dexterity

2. Both are based on 100-point character builds.

I suspect that one could put together a single system that draws from both rules sets. (Say, Trump Artistry from ADRP along side of Wealth from GURPS.) Basically, if one is really interested in expanding the options in ADRP I'll be some of the GURPS choices would provide a decent model for sample point costs.

In the same way, a person wanting to have more attribute levels than ADRP (shadow, chaos, amber, ranked...) could use a numeric scale more like in GURPS.

Perhaps this would be a way to blend dice with diceless?

Just me thinking out loud....
