May your liar be safe from trendletiles

I'm rereading The Courts of Chaos, and in its dedication to Carl Yoke, Zelazny says "May your liar be safe from trendletiles". It strikes me that this could be a reference to the famous  OD&D mistype (carried over into Arduin) that substituted "liar" for "lair". Is there any evidence that Yoke was a gamer?

I don't know, but it seems dubious that Zelazny would have known the reference anyways, since we know for a fact that Zelazny was NOT a gamer (at least until Erick Wujcik got him to try a bit of Amber just before Zelazny's death).
