So, its been an interesting phenomenon that even the people inclined to, let's say, dislike me strongly, even some of the very ones who have posted on the various LoO threads on the various forums to talk about how horrible a person I am, have felt forced to comment on how good a game Lords of Olympus seems to be. This has caused a tremendous amount of stress for some folks, as they reluctantly forced themselves to buy the game in spite of its author, and feel deeply conflicted about how much they love the game in spite of how much they don't love me. A few others have been resisting the purchase in spite of how much they want a game like this.
So I thought, in the spirit of outreach, I would start this thread as an emotionally safe environment for people who might make their way to this forum to be able to talk about it, work through their feelings, and try to overcome their guilty feelings and learn to love Lords of Olympus in spite of who wrote it.
Its OK. You don't have to feel bad, you can just enjoy that its a great game. It doesn't even mean you have to like me more! Come, pull up a chair and tell us about what you think is great about Lords of Olympus without fear or guilt at the idea of not appropriately hating me enough!

No takers? Maybe I should have taken The Wench's advice and offered a thread where people could make shit up about me, since they were doing that already on the rpg.net thread. Let's see, we already had "he's a homophobe", "his wife doesn't exist", "he's in south america because he's on the run from the law", and (bizarrely) "Lords of Olympus hasn't been released yet".
We could go with "I hear he kicks puppies"?

Just read somewhere you wrote a story game "like Amber was" and you "want story gamers dead" so you are a hypocrite and a mass-murdering lunatic, too. The internet can't make up its mind and decide which of these two crimes is the worst, though. ;)
