Amberites are not known for being a nice bunch of people; but seriously, I think that the Greek Gods (and mortal heroes) beat them hands down for being dicks (http://io9.com/the-13-biggest-assholes-in-greek-mythology-1454132475).

Yep, it's the douchebag Pantheon, one thing Ive never really seen Hollywood do. Quite liked Athena though, but even she could be a bit catty (Arachne anyone?)
