This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

For those of you who backed LoG&S and didn't get an email yesterday with the last update, check the KS updates for a link to the PDF.

Damn, this book looks great!:D

If anyone has a question about the book, I'll try to answer it; but bear in mind that I haven't read or played Amber Diceless, so I can't make comparisons between the games.
If you like to talk about roleplaying games, check Daystar Chronicles, my tabletop RPG blog, for reviews and homebrew.

Before you post, remember: It\'s okay to not like things...

The book itself is beautiful.  The art is great and the layout is very well done.

I haven't had a chance to do a thorough read yet, but from what I can tell it uses and refines the Amber mechanics such as attribute auctions, dominate ranks, stuff, etc.  It uses an original setting that doesn't include the Amber universe, but could very easily mesh with it if the GM wanted to go there.

I'm pretty excited about it.

Downloaded it today but haven't had a chance to read it yet. Assuming it's essentially the same as the earlier drafts, I expect it to be fantastic. The preview artwork looks nice as well.

Yes, I've been drooling over it since yesterday, although I dunno when I'll be able to read it.

Good point, pundit. I liked your rules clarifications, so I very much look forward to see what was done here :D

The Wizard Is Undeterred!

Hi!

Got it myself, and I'm looking to play/run-if-I-have-to a game of LoGaS. Hell, I got Lords of Olympus too, and I'd certainly be up for a game! (Amber is cool and all, but I like the newer settings better. Just a personal thing.)

Are there any ongoing games PbP that could use some new blood?

I've been looking at it myself now, and I'll probably talk about it in a blog entry sometime soon.
