SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

What Ambercon(s) do you plan to attend in 2011?

http://www.ambercons.com

I will definitely make it to Ambercon in Michigan this year. I would like to attend Amber Central and Ambercon Northwest but those will depend on finances.

Ambercon NW is in my backyard so to speak so that would be cool!
:)
Form the group wisely, make sure you share goals and means.
Set norms of table etiquette early on.
Encourage attentive participation and speed of play so the game will stay vibrant!
Allow that the group, milieu and system will from an organic symbiosis.
Most importantly, have fun exploring the possibilities!

I really should attend Ambercon since Chicago and Detroit aren't that far apart. Something always gets in the way, however.

Me and my co-worker want to head to Ambercon NW one of these days, but since we work at the same place, it's nigh impossible for us both to have the time off at the same time! x_X;

I keep wanting to go back to ACNW, but time is usually a factor.

It was so much easier to go to gaming conventions before getting married and having a kid. Now every vacation has to be a family thing, and I can't imagine anything less awkward than trying to deal with a non-gaming spouse and child while at a convention.

RPGPundit

Sadly, none, unless there's some Ambercon Montevideo I haven't heard of yet.
