This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Why people don't like to use trumps for Rebma

Yeah, I love Trump for that.  I'm playing in an Amber game as well as running one right now, and my PC is a Trump artist.  It's just got so much potential for amazing stuff.

ROFLMAO!

I love it!

Good discussion on Trumps all, I like the failsafe idea.
kinda like writer's/GM initiative. Sometimes certain things fit in the story that don't have o be precedent setting. This could lead to more argumentative rule-mongering players, but situation dictates.
I could see the mind/psyche of the trumper & trumpee having something to do with velocity breakdown to a certain extent.
In one of my other games, Champions (3rd edition rules!, Hardcover 4th messed it all up) I played a speester, and within the couple decades of playing him, he did eventually visit Amber, but that time he was a bit primal himself, and in a  climactic scene he was the 'bullet' through the trump so to speak. Every power is dangerous in creative hands.
