Intriguing thoughts... I agree particularly with the aspects of; the type of Shadows the Trump contact is going to & from, as well as the relative distance in between. I also like to allow much greater 'outside the box thinking' to Advanced Trump Artists.

I remember the passage about having to make the trip from Amber to Chaos in jumps, and I'm glad someone looked it up, IMC Ygg is also an axis type position between poles of reality. Many of Yggs 'Roots' have not been explored by campaigns past, though some have. Ygg has a bit of power to give it's devotees, among which one is 'hearing the whisperings of Trump conversations' upon the leaves of nearby trees (particularly ancient ones) through Ygg's Shadows of Network they pass through.
Advanced Trump though can get very creative and I can see distance becoming more relatively insignificant if the Trump Master's psyche is up to par with his/her imagination.
