This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: Casey777;358650I made sure to pick up BGII from the bundle since it powers this game and since I like modern horror / occult. Such as my stock praise for Nightbane. :pundit:

Awesome! Hope you enjoy BG as much as we do! It - and OHMAS, as they refuse to distinguish between them - are my group's favorite games. :D

QuoteOutremer? For some reason that makes me think of Andre Norton's Witch World setting, which started as a reshuffled Crusader Kingdom science-fantasy. i.e. Outremer sounds good!

Huh! I didn't know that! I never got into her Witch World series, even though I loved her other SF stuff! Outremer forks off during the Second Crusade, and things cascade from there. :D

With Sally being on here (I'm in some online games with her) as well as a couple of other people, I figured I'd better put in my two cents about your games.  Of course I might be a little biased but they really ARE great games.  When I was telling Sally about On Her Majesty's Service, it caught her attention immediately.  :)   For obvious and good reasons.

Bonni

Hi Bonni!

If Sally is a friend of yours, she's a friend of mine! Glad you are here! :D

H&S is the best supers game out there, Tim! It opened my eyes to how cool supers gaming could be, after being utterly turned off by games about super powers rather than super heroes, but I have the opposite problem with you! I want more, MORE! :D

Thank you very much! You have other of my games? I kind of specialize in offbeat settings. :D

G'day,

I first met your games when Casey777 referred me to the one about WWI aerial combat - I thought, "Not bad!"

But what really caught my attention was your game about dragons in the War of 1812. Bonni was running a game and would send me the transcripts (She also sent me the dragon creation rules, and it was fun to create a dragon in a European setting of the same period).

Then she brought OHMAS to my attention. The combination of a familiar and much admired setting with an intriguing premise looked amazing and well worth the effort and the price. I now have the PDF version, and, as I've said, I will look forward to running an OHMAS campaign.

PS: I'll enjoy 'Outremer' too!

Glad that you liked the Dragons Game Sally.  It was totally fun to do but then I'm partial to Dragons.

If Clash keeps me updated on his stuff I'm sure that I will be able to rope you into...umm.  I mean I will look forward to your participation... into checking them out.

Hear that Clash?  Now you HAVE to keep me informed because I'm already lining them up for the next great adventure!  :D

ooh! Dragons! was a favoe around here! We played two campaigns - one as English dragons and dragon riders in the Napoleonic wars, and another as feral dragons in the Great Lakes area during the War of 1812. That was a blast!

Woohoo! That's next on my list! Have you been reading my blog? I'm not sure I've mentioned outremer here!
