Title: DDBB Review
Post by: Punkadillo on September 04, 2018, 07:14:59 PM
If anyone is interested in reading a review of David and I's game (Dungeons & Delvers: Black Book) here is a really nice one:

It breaks down all the important aspects and even talks about the art.

Nice review! But I'm still a bit unclear on the WHY people should buy it if we already have a dozen fantasy RPGs. Please elaborate on what your game does IN ACTUAL PLAY that makes it worth running a campaign.

Is it on Amazon? If not, why?

Here's the RPGNow link

It's cool that the POD options come with free PDF.

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean by what the game does in actual play. Do mean key differences in the system that would make it feel different from other systems?

To try to answer it though, I've only really played Dungeon World and some Dungeons & Dragons, and to me Black Book is just simpler and more intuitive (especially when compared to running/designing for Dungeon World). Hopefully that helps. :)

As for Amazon, we just didn't think to do that, but we can look into now that you brought it up!
