This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Well, I bought it because I played and enjoyed RuneQuest and Stormbringer, so I knew what I could expect. That said, I think your review was very informative and exact. :)

And it finally arrived! :emot-swoon:
Grając zaś w grę komputerową, być może zdarzyło się wam zapragnąć zejść z wyznaczonej przez autorów ścieżki i, miast zabić smoka i ożenić się z księżniczką, zabić księżniczkę i ożenić się ze smokiem.

Nihil sine magno labore vita dedit mortalibus.

And by your sword shall you live and serve thy brother, and it shall come to pass when you have dominion, you will break Jacob's yoke from your neck.

Couple queries here, if I may:

1. Does it have a "points buy" option for those of us who like tailoring our characters?

2. Does it have a "ads/disads" system to further customize characters?

It offers the option to buy characteristics with a pool of points. What it doesn't have is a common pool of points to buy everything (characteristics, skills, ads and disads), like GURPS and HERO do.

No, it doesn't.

I've been pondering this, but I got a question:

If I've already got Call of Cthulhu 6th edition (and briefly had Cthulhu dark ages) but have been thinking of using the system for some swords + sorcery stuff with a magic system where you can cast more than four spells in your lifetime* without going insane, is this a worthwhile purchase?

(*obvious exaggeration, but you get my drift)

Does this place have a never-ending supply of WEIRD STUFF!?"

I remember playing a few sessions of Stormbringer and Hawkmoon (both were BRP). I can't remember the details of the implementation of the magic systems but I remember that magic user PC were fun to play and the sword & sorcery feel was there.

Absolutely, it is worth it if you want to run a swords & sorcery game.
