This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

[Ptolus/AD&D] OOC Thread #2

Alright. I'll get my stuff together, fire a mass PM to warn all players the game restarts, and I'll get to posting later on today.

Benoist

Err. I hate to say this, because that sounds crazy, but apparently the weather is so bad here that the rivers around town are cresting. Power may go out. Stay tuned. See my FB too for regular updates. I'll try to post if I got power in the next few hours after we're done preparing for the worse (school is cancelled etc, just learned about it right now).

Benoist

Still have electricity. We loaded on various types of food and candles and all the stuff we could find in case that comes to that.

Gareth/Imperator: the Limbus Sanguineum where you are is officially live again. You might want to post in there (last post was the answer of the beings you just met). I could post again if you need a nudge. Just let me know.

I'll have a look at the Underground thread right now.

Then, I'll create a separate thread to introduce Davin to the game smoothly (updated the first post of the Player Characters thread with a link to Davin's sheet, will work out Davin's token and all that ASAP).

Bear in mind power might go out for me in the meantime. Cross your fingers.

Note that many of the PC's listed have not been posting for some time.

Tudd, Runch, Ylarum...anyone else (not NPC's) still about?
:)

The trouble is, I've been watching for emails for new posts, not knowing of course that entirely new threads have been created :( Will catch up over the weekend and start posting again, and get subscriptions to the new threads I need to, and maybe make a second character.

Back online guys. Catching up with stuff now. If that connection holds, I'll be posting probably tomorrow morning.

thedungeondelver

Hell yeah I'm still here; I performed a beautiful attack on one of the orchid creatures (that I better get the nod on so I can roll some damage).

I saw the 21 yes, you motherf... bastard. :D

We've got some characters without players right now. I'll try to contact them but would like to move on with the round too.

At this point we've got :

Belak the dwarf and his henchman
Ulas Xegg

How about Bill (dungeondelver) you take control of the dwarves and post for them this round, and Chris (Sigmund) posts for Ulas Xegg?

Characters and stats can be found there on the PC thread :

Othos is holding the door as well so that's cool for now, and Rich (skofflox) is managing Nimten already.

Cool with you? If so, I'll wait til you post for those characters as well before posting myself, since you got init.

Ok. I'll have to refresh my memory on Ulas, but then I'll post... might take a bit as I'm working... or should be anyway :D

Edit: I guess, based on Cole's last post that Ulas will be firing an arrow, but that no rolls have yet been made, so maybe at lunch I'll do the rolls.

Okay...uh, let me find out what they were doing...I'll roll damage this round for Ylarum and the dwarves & co are...doing whatever they were previously doing until I can find them.  Hang on a few.

Belak has an axe in hand and just helped slaughter the reptile. He's standing right next to Ylarum and can assist him in attacking the flower creature thing as well. That d20+5.

Klob is still vomitting, sickened by the pollen. You can roll a saving throw for him.

I'll walk the dog and then I'll update the threads. I'll roll for the dwarves if I don't see you have posted by then, but you'd then roll for them for the next turn OK?

I'll go ahead and roll...

Belak shouts: "Khazâd ai-mênu!" and swings...

1d20+5=13

Klob struggles to remain standing...

1d20=12

(any bonuses for high CON or general dwarvyness since it's V. poison?)

Ah excellent. Wait. I'll revise my post for the dwarves if that changes anything... (checking)

Nah it doesn't. Belak still misses, and Klob is still wasting his guts on the floor.

Benoist

You guys by the dais fighting the orchid things : you will have to seriously consider a rest if you make it through this fight. You are taking some serious hits. Othos is a Cleric too, but with Runch down at the moment, your odds have fallen tremendously if you wish to push on into unexplored areas right this minute.

Just pointing out the obvious, you'll tell me.

Sigmund

I'll be surprised if we survive to be honest.
