This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Yea, I know. If i just roll I do fine. Its only when I want to do well that it sucks. :idunno:

Spoiler
Falchion attempts to lift the stone spears from the indentures.

Sky Clouden

Spoiler
Mithanos pushes his way to the front of the group and cracks his knuckles. He then grins and loudly proclaims "Let a real man handle this!" He then starts poking the statue in the stomach. "Hey. You. Yeah, you! Stone guy! Yeah... open up! C'mon! Let us in!"

Arcana on the door, statues, and locking mechanism:

Can I... bluff the statues open? You know... like... "We are the adventurers you're looking for"?:

And if no... I'm going to try and pick the lock using theivery:

Sano Arcanos

Spoiler
As Falchion tries desperately to pull the spears, he is incapable of moving them. Something is holding them in place. Almost as if by some divine sign, the sorcerer begins playing around with the statues. As Mithanos fiddles around with the locking mechanisms, your entire party hears an extremely audible click. The spears, which wear locked into place, have now been unlocked. However, because of their size and the fact that they are solid stone, the child playing around with them can't lift them. Perhaps a stronger character should try.

And for the record, even if you had rolled another natural twenty... YOU CAN'T BLUFF ROCKS!

I bet dead people are easier to get along with.

Nice work Sky. :)

Spoiler
Falchion nods thankfully at the small sorcerer, and once again grabs hold of a stone spear.

Strength

Well.... At least I can do that...

Spoiler
The scarecrow collapses in a heap on the ground, ashamed of his failure. The sound em emenating from the haystack could  be described as crying. It could also be described as small children being slowly roasted alive.
Whither shall I Wander?

Sano Arcanos

Spoiler
As the warforged grips the spear and rips it from the hole it was embedded in, as well as from the statue's hands, the force of his pull causes the spear to swing wildly behind him, just barely dancing over the sorcerer's head before coming to a sudden stop. A sickening crack echos across the small, windswept plaza as the spear collides with something almost directly behind the sorcerer and his metallic companion. There's a soft gush of air, and a rustling of fabric as something collapses on the ground. Slowly, an individual begins to fade into existence. It appears to be a member of the Elundari, though the face has been so badly damaged by the spear that it's hard to tell much of anything. It is a female, and it is dressed in brown cloth. Her hand is extended towards Mithanos, and a simple, yet deadly dagger is resting in her limp appendage. She is dead.

Congratulations, you've corrected Nicoli's mistake... and good timing, too. Sky, thank the nice metal man who saved your life.

When can I get in the Sanos?
I am ready to earn some gold.:D

Sano Arcanos

Spoiler
Although the spear shattered the skull of the assassin going after the sorcerer, there was no luck in regards to the one going after the gnoll. A short, soft gasp of air is all that you hear as a spurt of blood sprays the ground in front of it before it collapses. Behind her stands a grinning assassin, arm still raised in the killing position. However, as you adjust to the most shocking and sudden development, a red spot appears on the assassin's chest. It grows and grows, and suddenly, the assassin makes coughs. "Gnghhhah!" The assassin collapses, and behind him, you see another figure, arm extended with a wicked looking dagger in the exact place the assassin's heart was moments ago. The figure, a male with short cropped black hair grins. "Sup?"

Ladies and gentlemen... well... gentlemen, at least. I'm sad to say that we lost our dear friend Misha... she'll be missed. But, at least she was avenged by our new friend Mahahn Rasvahn.

Spoiler
The stack of hay reassembles himself, rising to his feet. Jack-o-lantern in arm, he turns to Vex's corpse.
"Poor Vex...may your soul be taken into The Great Pumpkins bountiful vines."
I close the gnoll's eyes, laying it's sword upon it's breast.
A hollow voice addresses the new companion as I loot the assassins.
"Many thanks to you, Stranger. Things could have turned out much worse had you not shown up. Pray tell, Who are you, and what brings you here?"

Perception check on new companion

Damn...

Also what did I loot? :)

Spoiler

Falchion throws the stone spear to the ground and looks at the two dead assassins, his red eyes glowing brightly.

EnkiduAwakened

Okay, guys.  I am soooo sorry.  My first week has kind of been a nightmarish adjustment this semester because of my schedule and my change of major.  But I am back.  I promise.

Spoiler
Fidgeting uncomfortably after he watched the wolf meet its untimely demise, he looked scoped what was left of the assassins.  How convenient that that a person would appear in time just to help us.

He fingered his sleeves and peered at the newly arrived figure.  Who was this person, and why was he here?  Was this a trap?  What was going on?

Eyes narrowed, he asked the figure, "Who are you?"

"Straw if your going to loot our friends corpse like a common street urchin steals from a crypt, then I charge you with the care of her body after we emerge from this temple."

I looted the assassins, not Vex lol

Yea, my bad

Sano Arcanos

The attachment is for Nicoli, because he didn't kill either assassin. Also, he did not post who he was looting, or what he was looking for, and obviously the killers have first rights in this situation...

I've nothing really to post until Razma posts his responses to Enkidu's question... and you all decided to be happy time friends or sad time enemies...

And last but not least. Did you know that R is the last letter of the English alphabet? Because, apparently, when arranging graduated cylinders in alphabetical order by their lot codes, R goes at the end, even after Y. So yay... Imma go die a bit.

So..... what does the red eyes giant find on assassin A's body? lol. Also, that's interesting.....
