This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Engerams failed trust carries through to far. He's unable to bring up his shield, turning on his toe to slip out of the way he takes another ugly blow.

1d100=67 fail.

As the blade draws back, Engeram steps back and raises his shield, covering the most of his body he can. Biting back the pain, "a fine change of toon. First you are your own man, but now a messenger! I'd like to meet his father!"

Borvr grins through bloody teeth at Engeram.

"You would not like to meet his father, especially with Borvr's blood on your hands."

The boy remains paralysed with fear, cowering behind Bryce as far from combat as he dares.

Norrell's out of the scrum right now, in Bryce's arms. Bryce, you're able to cast a healing spell whenever you please without problems.

The young sorcerer places his hands upon the dwarf's wound while muttering his incantation.

Roll = 16 vs battle-magic skill of 64.  Success!  Magnitude = 3, so 3 hit points healed.

Bryce's brow becomes covered with a bright sheen of sweat as the the spell takes its toll in fatigue.  However, the effort is well compensated, as Norrell's wound begins to knit itself together.

As Amra draws near from behind/flank (?) he say LOUDLY
"By all the gods let us stop this fighting!"

thereby letting the Geornlings know another comes to join the fray...

Cursing himself for a fool in trying to talk reason to these men, in the middle of combat at that, Jhan brings his sword down in tight arc aiming for Gunnar's leg.

The slash is decent, but at the last instant his foot slips a little, just enough to throw his aim .

Attack Gunnar (1d100=55) Missed by 5% unless there's a bonus of some sort. (hands over cash)

Damn it! Norel thinks to himself irritated, blasted itch just won't stop how much I scratch it!  I just want to sleep some more for slag's sake!

Despite his overwhelming urge to ignore the annoying itch and go back to sleep, Norel opens his eyes groggily and takes a moment to focus his vision.  At first, he still thought he was dreaming when he saw someone's face hovering over him, but, as he moved slightly, the light reflected off the sheen on Bryce's face, and then, in a moment of crystallized clarity, the wounded dwarven warrior realizes what is happening.

"Slag!" Norel exclaims softly to himself, upset with the fact that he is in this state of circumstance.

Norel quickly moves his head around to look around himself and Bryce, and quickly realizes that he's lying on the ground and that the battle is still raging somewhere nearby.

Looking up into Bryce's face, Norel says with a grunt as he tries to get up, "thank you.  Now, help me up, Boyo!"

=======================================

OoC: Norel is at 3 positive hit points now.  Thanks Bryce!

I'm gonna be in New York until Friday. I'll try to get on when I can, but I'm gonna be running around a lot and can't promise anything. Feel free to post in the meantime, of course.

Seeing Norrel stand back up, Gunnar groans. His fury has exhausted itself, and the length of the battle has tired him. He rocks unsteadily on his feet, bleeding from numerous wounds, and tosses his sword at Jhan's feet in surrender.

"Enough!" He drops to one knee with his head hanging limply and sweat pouring down his face. He glances over to Stumvr's body once, and then raises his head slightly to look at Jhan.

"Enough! I yield!"

Borvr spits out a curse in Geornish, but is too busy with Engeram to punish his comrade.

Managed to worm my way out of the Big Apple.

Norrell, you're back in initiative.

Approaching Borvr from flank/rear looking to wound/unbalance should he keep fighting.

Shall I roll?

Borvr's on the brink of death and in a frenzy, so you can roll Influence, but it's at -25%. He's just not really listening to reason or thinking sensibly at this point.

-25 is more than my Influence % ! Amra stands back shaking his head at the wasted life...If Borvr looks to be rallying Amra will try to disrupt his actions...

Sorry guys, I injured my foot at Ground Zero and got laid up with it longer than I thought I would be.

I believe it's Sighard and Engeram. The only Geornling still fighting is Borvr, and he's on the brink of death. Norrel and Bryce are back from combat near to the boy. Jhan is standing about 1m to the side with Gunnar on his knees in front of him, and Amra is behind the melee, shouting at Borvr who is ignoring him.
