This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Has only one round gone by?

If this is the second round then, yes, I missed with my crossbow.

Engeram pushes his shield off of his opponent, drops to one knee and shoots under Borvr's shield. He then violently pushes for the sky, digging under him with his shield and shoulder, hoping to lift him up on to his toes, and back onto Gelf's lap.

I was hoping to finish disrupting their formation. I did already shove him and Gelf back while the casters were chanting. My current Athletics is 80% and if I get a +10 for the momentum I had last round, it would work.

This is technically after Gelf's attack.

Pseudoephedrine

Gelf steps back from the scrum with two long strides. He judges his mark and snaps his arm to hurl the axe at Sighard. It flies low, and chops the dirt at your feet, Sighard.

Misses by a mile. Gelf has a shortsword on his belt, not currently drawn. He's standing a few long steps behind Gunnar and Stumvr, opening space for the rest of the Geornlings to brace themselves or give way to Engeram. Getting to him means risking either Gunnar or Stumvr's blades, or making a wide circle around the entire melee.

Sighard moves forward towards Stumvr, keeping his shield up and unafraid. He takes a swing at Stumvr again, missing once again as well.

http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2708851/ Die roll for attack, rolled a 92, 58% chance to hit. A miss I gather.

Targeting Gelf, continuing to work slowly around for a flank/rear position...( will pause to take upcoming shot.)

Fantastic shot by Amra. roll is 04(ranged @ 59%)! YEAH!...Psuedo,not sure if you want to apply any mods for the shot as I know the situation may change before my turn comes up otherwise that is a crit.!

damage http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2709135/
roll= 7!

Amra calmly reaches for another shaft...

The arrow slams into Gelf's left wrist, accurately placed between the bones. The wrist fails, the fingers going from a clenched fist to completely limp, and the skin wrippling as tendons and ligaments tear. He shouts in agony and craddles his arm, retreating from the fight.

Amra> You actually got a critical, which means max damage, and the hit ignores armour. Good stuff!

Is Norel still engaged with Borvr?  Or did Stumvr and Gunnar push him out of the way somehow?  Who is the nearest opponent in melee range to Norel currently? :)

It's Borvr. Gunnar and Stumvr helped him stay upright after Engeram nearly shoved him over.

Now you see why Borvr is war-leader of this band. He raises the spear over his head and brings it down in a series of fast, powerful overhanded stabs that hammer Engeram and Norrel backwards.

Ok, it's Jhan and Borvr. Jhan?

Borvr is making another all-out attack, one on Norrel, one on Engeram.

On Norrel: http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2714350/
On Engeram: http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2714351/
Damage for Engeram's hit: http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2714352/

That's a critical on Norrel and a hit on Engeram!

Norrel, it's 6 damage and bypasses armour. You need a critical parry or dodge to avoid it.
Engeram, it's 4 damage.

Engeram staggers back, having taken another heavy blow. Bleeding, he steps forward looking for more.

"Borvr the Bold!" shouts Gunnar in support the Geornlings' champion. "Borvr Manslayer!" shouts Stumvr as Engeram reels backwards. Borvr's response is a bellowing war cry.

When Enegram staggers back under the heavy blows from Borv, Jhan takes a few steps into the sudden opening. His face is set in an expression of fear and anger as he brings his shortsword forward in a simple but quick stab towards Borvr's guts.

Shortsword attack on Borvr 50% (1d100=20)
Damage (1d6=1)

Not very effective, is he ;(
And he should act on 18 next round btw

Drohem

Norel fails his shield parry for round 2 with 85%.  I guess I will spend a Hero Point and avoid death and go unconscious.  Those two criticals put him at zero hit points.
