This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Looks very nice.  I like the effort you are putting into all of this.

390. My character\'s background must be more indepth than a montage of Queen lyrics.

629. Just because they are all into rock, metal and axes, dwarves are not all headbangers.

Thanks!

Tomorrow is, of course, a holiday for the American posters here, so I will probably check once or twice in the morning and tidy up any activity, but after around noon-ish MST, I will not be available.  Likely the next time I will check will be sometime Friday morning.  If the tryptophan has worn off by that point.  :)

The game has been great so far; everyone's contributions have been fantastic!  After the holiday big things are on the horizon, so gird yourselves, conjure up your most cunning plans, and prepare for the harrowing dangers ahead!

Happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating!

Ok, I have the current adventures copied over to Epic Words in the journal.  I am a bit irritated that they are sorted most recent first, but there is probably a setting I am missing.  For the rest of the story, click on the Campaign Journal tab, and it will display all of them.  You will need to read from the bottom up, however.

Drop me a PM to get access to the campaign over there, Drohem is already in!

Venosha,

I, the player Drohem, am totally cool with it if you want Semina to scout ahead. :)

The character Thraim is a little mystified in-game because they just decided on a plan of action a few minutes ago in-game, and now it's falling apart in his eyes.

I am totally cool if Heathcliffe and Semina do the scouting instead of Thraim and Kagan-Zur.  Let's just roll with it the way it is now, and try to keep the momentum going for this game! :)

Venosha

Drohem,

Sorry if I seemed offensive in IC.  I knew what the original plan was, but I figured my character screwed it up when she took off on her horse.  I guess I got confused for a moment.  I have posted in IC to let everyone catch up and maybe we can make a new course?

Ok, I think the end of year wrap-ups and beginning of year planning should be settled by now.  We should be able to pick up the pace again, so we will be going back to one post a day, as a minimum.

I have been letting things go sand-box for a while, and I am not averse to giving time for whatever interactions everyone wants to carry out, but if there seems to be a lull in the action, I will step in and move things along.  Later today, I will be updating IC with the events of the day.

Of course, this will be waived in the event of technical difficulties.

My Dad *jacked my PSU last night for his computer, since his is dying. We're going to buy me a new one today. I shall now demonstrate my absolute fearlessness by saying, as long as nothing goes wrong I'll be able to post today.

* Exaggeration for humour.
The main problem with government is the difficulty of pressing charges against its directors.

Given a choice of two out of three M&Ms, the human brain subconsciously tries to justify the two M&Ms chosen as being superior to the M&M not chosen.

Drohem

Sorry, I probably mis-read Stormy's post.  I thought that we were currently on the highest ground around, and that the storm was almost directly upon us.

If we still have time, and there is higher ground available, then Thraim would want to get to it as well.

Venosha

You are correct, he did say that we were the highest ground, but now his description in the tree line has more detail.  Let me know what you think is the best option as well as everyone else's opinion.  Majority rules

I'm totally down for checking out a better spot to weather out the storm. :)

[del]Naren will follow the party on this.[/del]

I've been informed that 'Naren thinks that a trade road such as this should have contingencies for bad weather. Caravans must have been caught on the far side of the swamp at least a few times when it was flooded, so likely set up some kind of area in the forest ahead of the party to weather a storm or wait for the marsh to drain.'

It's good to know that. :D

I was rather hoping you might relay that to the party in character.  I could have posted it here myself, if that was my intention.

Sorry, but I'm not good at that - It would have sounded like a quote anyway.

Add to that I've had a rather stressful day and I found text-dumping far funnier than it should have been...*Shrug*

Anyone know where in this pile my character sheet might be? I couldn't find it in the thread. Had a HD crash.
