Hearing nothing from the other side of the door, Semina tries to open it, keeping herself clear of the entry way incase something charges the opening.

OOC: Are all the doors pretty similar to the one we just opened? Like the handles and hinges?

The door swings towards you with nary a sound, opening into a corridor ten feet wide and fifty feet long. On the eastern wall, there are three doors, one twenty feet up, one right next to that, and the last at the far end of the corridor.

Semina stares into the abyss as the door opens to another hallway and more doors along the eastern wall. She slumps against the frame and looks at her companions as they wander around the hall way. "Got any suggestions?" she asks to anyone listening. "Should we explore this area first, or search behind door number one?"

Semina eases her grip on her hand axe as she awaits the groups decision.

"By the numbers," Semina nods at Thraim, as she scouts off in the direction of the doors. She picks up the pace till she reaches the first door on the eastern wall, "I'll try listening once more," she remarks quietly. She places her axe in her right hand as she listens with her left ear.

Thraim stands about eight feet behind Semina while she concentrates on the job at hand, covering her back with his crossbow and scanning the hallway ahead.

Heathcliffe, readying his sling and a bullet, raises his brow at Snorri's words, and quietly quips with a faint smile, "Oh, don't we all?"

Semina stands facing the door with a dissatisfied look. 'Not another hallway,' she thinks to herself as she grinds her teeth. "I hear nothing," she whispers to the others. "I'm going to open slowly," she speaks softly to her armed companions.

Semina grips the handle and slowly opens the door. She uses the door as a shield, while letting her head peek around the door to see if there is anything wandering about.

Peering around the door, you see the entire floor is covered with a slimy green goo. The only part not so covered is a small four-foot-square stone platform raised 2’ off the floor, located against the east wall. Cemented to the platform is a stone chest shaped like a 3’ cube. The entire ceiling is a dull black.

The hairs on the back of Thraim's neck start to rise as he surveys the room from outside.

This ain't right, something is wrong here, he thinks to himself.

"I don't like the looks of this room, don't go in Semina," Thraim says to her.

Semina backs away from the door quickly, as she notices a green goo covering almost the entire room. "Something foul lingers inside ," she speaks quietly with disgust. " A green goo covers most areas, except for a stone chest against the east wall," she pauses, "and the ceiling looks unnaturally dull and black."

Waiting to see her companions reactions, Semina keeps her eye on the door making sure the goo doesn't inch out of the room. "Anyone ever tangled with goo before?" she whispers softly over her shoulder.
