This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

QuoteSemina:  Did you want to check out the red towel?[/I]

I am not inside the room.  I just mentioned it to the others to see if they wanted to leave or check it out.  It will be up to the three inside the room.

Thraim will pick up the red towel and examine it.

The red towel is quite plush, and the colour looks much deeper than any other red cloth you can remember seeing.  At first, it appeared to be a couple of towels folded together, but judging by the pile of the fabric, you guess it is actually a single towel, albeit an over-large one.  A very ornate Gothic embroidery nearly hides the monogram, but it looks like the initials 'S' and 'D'.  It could be your eyes playing tricks, however, the decoration and the letters are such that you can almost see several designs hidden in the pattern.

Thraim shrugs his shoulders, tosses the towel on the floor, and says, "it's a finely made monogrammed towel.  Let's move on."

Ok, you are leaving the red towel and the filthy rag on the floor.  Where to next?

OOC:  We'll head out back into the grand hallway to the location of the red dot on the map.  We'll then check out the door on the left, or directly north of the red dot.

OOC: I should have made it clearer, Sander attempted to hook and lift the rag with one of the barbs on his mace.

I got that, you looked it over and noticed some stains or possible liquids on the rag.  I figured you put it back down, as there was no further response.

Semina secures her crossbow on her pack, and equips her hand axe in her right hand.  "Let me listen to the door," she moves to the front of the pack.  "With all we've run into, I think it best we take better precautions."  She places her left ear upon a door once more, "Let's be ready."

OOC: Moving the party along.  Semina will listen, and if nothing is heard...lets open this door.

Quietly opening the door, you peer into a large ornate bedroom. Paintings adorn the walls, portraits of the family, apparently; the largest hangs above the mantle, facing the bed itself.  It is a young woman wearing a blue dress seated next to a small table, hands folded in her lap clutching a silver key.  There is a large four poster bed in the middle of the room with all the curtains drawn.  A fireplace burns low on the north wall, while the room itself is ordained in shades of blue with silver trim.
