This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

hehehehe, Thraim thought to himself, the next time we meet, Jean-Louis, we shall just see who is smiling and who is not.

Heathcliffe sighs, relieved that the blossoming hostilities did not erupt into violence.

"We best not stick around here - in any case, it may be our advantage to seek out that fellow he mentioned and raid thier kitchen for any foodstuffs."

Drohem

Thraim looks sideways at Heathcliffe and says with a chuckle, "indeed, Heathcliffe, indeed.  Let us leave this room."

Semina turns around to follow the others out of the room. "Food sounds like a novel concept," agreeing with Heathcliffe.  "All your fighting made me hungry Thraim," she smiles.  "Maybe we will find Prince Stephen making sandwiches in the kitchen, though I dare not take food from this manor," Semina's smile turns into an evil grin.  "Either way, are we headed back towards the outer hallway?" she asks.

Thraim chuckles and says, "well, I could go for a sandwich after that match.  Let's see just how much hospitality Jean-Louis' family is willing to provide... or, how much I am going to take from them.  Lead on Semina, or Heathcliffe just follow your nose."

StormBringer

I kept thinking the room you are in was on the first map I posted, sorry about that.

Semina looks back at the door they entered before the boxing match. "Let's head back out to the hallway again," she glances at everyone. "We can take our chances through the double doors, and if nothing comes up we can follow Jean's lead."

Curiosity thrashes about as Semina turns and walks towards the entry way they came through.  She does her best to distract Thraim from following Jean-Louis. 'Need to calm his temper a bit before we run into the ring master again,' she comments to herself. Semina places on hand upon the tip of her axe as she glides into the hallway.

OOC: What time of day is it? Once we enter the hallway, has anything changed?

For convenience, let's say you woke up in the foyer at 6am, and have spent the last hour or so with the boxing and everything.  We'll call it 7:30.  The hallway is exactly how you left it.

Heathcliffe heads to the double doors, "Let's keep to the welcoming carpet lest we run into the more sinister inhabitants of this abode. I think Jean-Pierre was perhaps one of the more amiable nuts in this bunch." He smiles grimly.

StormBringer

You find the entry hall as empty as it was when you arrived.  The doors leading to the foyer stand open, and you can see beyond that to the fog outside.  It appears to be holding at the doors on the far side, neither advancing nor retreating.  On the north wall, the double doors are shut, but the luxurious red carpeting runs beneath them uninterrupted.

Semina calmly walks down the red carpet and stop in front of the double doors.  She places her ear on the left door, hoping to catch a echo of trouble before they enter.  'There might be another match brewing ahead,' she thinks to herself.

Semina brings up her right hand asking the others to stop, so she can listen deeply to any events taking place on the other side.

(Have we slept enough that Sander and the other magic-users have relearned their spells?)

Sander stops behind Semina and waits for her report.

The party has just woken up about an hour and a half prior.  Everyone has the full complement of spells, minus the cure light wounds you already used.

Semina listens intently for sounds from the other side of the double doors, but she is unable to hear anything unusual.  "As far as I can tell it is quite silent on the other side," she whispers to her companions.  "Shall we proceed," she speaks softly as she brings out her axe while preparing to open the left door.
