This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Okay, let's knock the dust off this place.

Okay, with 50k pitched toward a ship, I'll upgrade you to a 200 Ton Far Trader (Empress Marava Class). Its a good standard merchant vessel, very common, and only requires a crew of three (but the more the merrier of course). No turrets, sorry to say, but you won't need them right now anyway. :)

Mark off the cash and consider it done. Name your ship, if you like. ;)

yay!  a marava's nice & big, and has that cool "millennium falcon" kind of windowed bridge!  no turrets, no worries.  i don't think anyone has gunnery skill anyway. . . .

Only I do, and two levels of it.

ah, good to know.  the only thing i've written down is who's running what character, and what career they came from.  i should add ages to that, too, just to aid in visualizing the other characters.

Hey, you guys wanna know how I'm picturing Ken?

Ken glares at Torin; he doesn't like being talked to that way. He perceives it as a kind of condescension. "Just sayin'," he mutters darkly, and shuts his yap.

(from the AP thread)

glad my back's to you.  i'd hate to be on the receiving end of a "leon" glare

Dr Rotwang!

Naaah, Ken's not a killer.  He's more of a gregarious guy who's sensitive about his intellect; he knows he's not that bright, but rather that he's just well-trained.  It irks him to realize this about himself.

Torin, of course, can talk to him however he wants.  In fact I think it'd be interesting if you guys were continually exasperated with Ken, or maybe if you kept forgetting that he's not as quick as everyone else.

sorry i'm less than productive at the moment, guys.  the semester is winding down and i'm trying to get stuff done.  one class ends tomorrow evening, the other 12/19.

i'll still post, i just can't jump in as much as i'd like at the moment.

glad we got the job!  i was afraid of trying to bluff gun skillz with my o-so distinctive scout career :haw:

beeber

dammit!  of course we get to this situation and i'm at work all freaking day!

anyone know the min strength required for shotguns?

Werekoala

For the record, most any small arms you prefer/are capable of using are available from the gun display rack. The office is indeed windowless, although the receptionist office does have a plate glass window facing onto the street.

I have corrected my description of Ken's action.  Salud!
