This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Having discovered an uninhabited new land, the Vikings are establishing a settlement. You play the part of a member of the second wave of settlers, arriving with new supplies and fresh bodies. But the settlers who are waiting for you are not as numerous as expected, and there seems to be something troubling them though none will speak of it.

They throw a great feast when you arrive, roast sheep and some sort of large lizard. You drink from one of the many mead barrels your people brought along. At the end of the night, you and your people go to sleep. In the morning you wake to find the ships gone with every member of the original group of settlers.

Just what the hell is going on here?
