So, as I mentioned in the thread on the main RPG forum, I am designing a tabletop RPG based on the Warcraft games, mainly focusing on the current iteration.

I would like to actually playtest the game before I sit down to pen the postmortem that will serve as the main thrust of my final paper, so I thought I would ask here if anyone would be interested in playing a short session via IRC of a new game.  My IRL player base is mostly retarded, and several of them are openly hostile to WoW, so I'm sort of confined to online if I want to get this done.

Playtest session would most likely be this Friday or Saturday, depending on completion rate.  If you have a particular class/race combo in mind feel free to post that as well as I may then be able to prioritize certain class designs based on what is needed for the session.

I worked on something similar, but eventually gave up because I couldn't (and rightly so) translate the MMO experience to table top.

Having read the DoW alpha document, I must say it look intriguing. Is there still a spot in this? What fashion will it take (board, chat, etc)?

I'll probably be doing it IRC somewhere.  I considered using gametable though.
