This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quobbles reloads his crossbow, and whistling a deliberately incongrouous jolly tune between his teeth, swaggers back into the room, his left thumb hooked through a beltloop.  The crossbow casually dangles from his right hand.

He strolls back into the room and stops just inside the doorway.  He grins in a sickly manner, blows the bound hobgoblin a kiss, and continues whistling.

Ari raises his hands up, "Okay, now take it easy...he wants to cooperate and tell us everything. Just give him a chance to speak..."

Quobbles sits in a contented cross legged fashion on the grimy floor of the dungeon, and trains the crossbow quarrel between the hobgoblins eyes, dropping his whistling to about half the volume.  He says nothing.

Ari turns back to the Hobgoblin, "Okay, give!"

The hobgoblin balks "the boys would never take me as leader, they dont call em Gog the great for nothin. The tunnel though its in the old living quarters to the east of here. Not many of the boys guarding it, if any, too many combing the woods for captives or guardin this place."

Ari looks back to the Hobgoblin, "And where is this Gog at?"

pbj44

Ari leans closer, "I SAID WHERE IS THIS GOG AT?!"

Arkansan

The hobgoblin snarls " I told ya, he's down in the holdout the goblins carved in the mountain that's where the tunnel goes!"

"Great!"

"Get on your feet!"

Ari pulls the Hobgoblin to his feet and turns him to face the door.

"Okay, you're going to take us to Gog right now."

Leaving his hands bound, Ari fashions a leash about the Hobgoblin's neck.

"Get moving, and remember, whatever happens to us, happens to you first. Of course -  you'll let us know when we are near the entrance to the tunnel."

He grins

"Don't worry, the halfling will be right behind you. Okay, get moving!"

Arkansan

You manage to coral the unwilling hobgoblin out the door. He loudly bemoans his rotten luck.

Ari hisses to the Hobgoblin, "Shut up, it pisses off my little friend!"

He glances at the halfling, "Okay Quobbles, he's yours to command."

Moving back to the others he whispers, "Friends, this captive creature is going to lead us to the rest of his kind - they serve the robed ones as hired muscle, gathering captives from far and near, for some monstrous ritual soon to occur. They have subdued a band of Goblins in a nearby set of tunnels and have enslaved them. If we can slip into those tunnels we may be able to wreak havoc on them, perhaps even getting their Goblin slaves to rise against them. I think that this would surely aid us in our fight against these demon priests. What say you?"

Chugosh

"I do not relish trusting in this creature," says Brogar, "but your plan has merit. "

Ari nods and speaks to Quobbles, "Okay, let's go."
