OOC: Jolene will say it's OK about Denny. But will defer to Blinov's nightlife judgment. Outside that — and her pack w/ compad, swapped out xeno-glowbug for regular glowbug, & telescopic rod — she can't think of what else.

Modia, being a sleepless robot, stays up all night, staring at the qweevil curiously. Drs. Ling and Nadir retire to their respective rooms. Spanner replaces your O2 tanks before you head back to town.

Katie rests easily in one of the guest rooms. "Y'all have fun!" she says. "I'm not cut out for the club scene..."

A moment to recall Blinov's club knowledge:
The Dance Hall, which is frequented by farmhands and other laborers, is probably the most popular and active with locals. There is UnLocal, a nightclub in the offshoot dome near the amphitheater, which mostly caters to offworlders and immigrants (this is the club in which Denny and Blinov purchased their tickets for tomorrow's concert).

Blinov's plan is to scout the scene ahead of Jo and make sure the vibe is safe, pick up a few useful rumors, then keep an eye on her from a distance just in case anything needs intervention.

She looks as nice as can be, but is really making the effort to rein back her 'Daisy Duke' tease, as she wants the Acherai guys to have fun but not think of her as easy or a prostitute. Ideally she wants to pawn them off to others at the club, just in case they are boring or suspicious.

"With you two in tow, and those farm boys we'll pick on up, we best hit a hen house with all you roosters! I'm countin' on you Blinov." As she walks to the garage, "Mind your manners now, a lady likes to feel special and respected."

I'll once-over Denny & Blinov to make sure they cut an image I'd like. Jolene won't be able to help herself from to doing a last minute fuss (style down a hair colic, spot check for smudges/missed shaving cream/powder marks, aligned belt buckles and evened collars, etc.). After all the essential primping, you arrive back at Q-Town's Golden Orb to meet Montour and Baldwin. The lobby's message board has not been updated. There is a cop sitting in the lobby, perhaps part of the ongoing investigation. Other than the officer, the first floor is quiet. Even Magnus the bartender seems to be having a slow night in the Lounge.

After a few minutes, the boys from Asherah descend the stairs. Baldwin seems eager to see Jolene of course. Montour is a little more subdued, but he smiles politely.

"Where to?" Baldwin asks eagerly.

(OOC: Easy way to distinguish them which just came to me! MontOUR ends in O-U-R like "dour" and "sour"--he's the hesitant/petulant one. BaldWIN ends in "win", because he seems relatively "OMFG let's do this!")

Jolene's in total mom mode and wouldn't acknowledge it a whit. She's had too many brothers and male cousins to fuss over. And she fussed over them both big and small throughout her growing up.

However, it is totally dependent on how Blinov appears. If he's dirty & slovenly then there will be fussin'.

Magnus sighs as he greets Denny and brings him a Q'oors Light. "The cops were swarming all day yesterday. As you can see, it didn't affect my business at all!" he says loudly, his voice echoing in the empty lounge. "I think they're keeping a lower profile investigating now, but they've done their damage. A lot of people are looking for other lodgings. Heh. And the Golden Orb was supposed to be the safest place to stay in Q-Town--not the place where people get murdered!"

Jolene and Blinov:
"Uh, you look n-nice," Baldwin tells Jolene, trying hard to keep his mouth closed. Montour crosses his arms and nods in quiet agreement. "So, where to huh? I've never been anywhere, um, fun."

"Fun, of course, is also outlawed on Asherah," Montour notes.

OOC: I don't remember if we are going to The Dance Hall or UnLocal first. I assume Blinov suggested which order. And I also assume Jolene would angle the conversation to get the Asherah guys onto the clubs.

Jolene wouldn't know how to explain Blinov being aloof at the Golden Orb, or why Denny is with me. But I guess she could whip up a lazy shrug as if this is perfectly normal before partying. I'd want to get out to the clubs ASAP, to avoid law scrutiny and to have more time and options just in case I need to foist these two on other women.
