You maneuver the ship out of the hanger and then fire off the drives. The ship hesitates for just a brief second and then slowly begins to rise. The helm feels a bit sluggish and you make a mental note to calibrate some of the settings a bit later. Spiraling up and over the base you post your flight plan with the automated ATC facility.

Soon the comm board lights up as ATC orders you to shut down and land.

Ignoring the chatter you deftly touch a few of the settings on the flight board and the ship tears up through the atmosphere followed by an enormous trail. After a few moments you adjust your flight course for the large gas giant and settle in for the ride.

Violet voice pops in over the comm, “Everything is green! Looks good!”

As soon as Travis gets that info, he announces "Since this is a shakedown cruise...we'll be going full tilt...so updated flight is as follows, 68hrs to Gas Giant, 1-2 hrs to refuel, 8.8hrs to jump point from Gas Giant, 1 week jump time, then 163 min from jump to planet-side...1 hr to top off fuel tanks when we get there, then business. Sanke, them guns better be up and working...might need them where we're going. Capt, I'll be living here for the time being in the bridge..."

Once travel begins to the Markos gas giant things settle down. Over the next couple of days the ship and its crew begin to fall into their routine. A few hour before you are due to arrive at the gas giant the comm link flashes indicating a comm request from the cargo bay.

You hear Sanke's voice, "Hey man, you should come down and check out this cargo."

"G@d dammit!!!" Travis locks down the bridge, verifies his tablet is monitoring everything, then heads back, screaming for Violet to meet him there...

Sanke nods at all of you arriving.

He leads you over the the 10 Sealed crates strapped down in the center of the hold.

Smirking he says, "Hey man, lean over and give this crate a sniff and let me know if anything seems familiar!"

"I think I'll go to engineering to monitor the fuel transfer!"

Sanke starts to say something to her, "Hey Violet...about your whiskey...could I..."

"Shut up Sanke!"

She storms away.

Sanke turns on you with a snarl, "Man! You are somethin' else, ya know!!!! Now look at what ya done! Sh!t, a dry cruise!"

"This is all your fault!"

He storms away to the gun station!

Travis looks back and forth, to where those two stomped off...smiling...*Nothing like a well oiled crew...* as he retrieves another bottle of whiskey from his room on the way back to the bridge...

Travis at the bridge starts system checks for In-Flight Refueling, he looks at the results, hoping he will see...
X1, X6, X7, X8, X9, X10, X11, X70, X71, X72, and X73 to be all green.

In an All Business tone, he has Sanke check in from Weapons Station, and Violet check in from Engineering...
