This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Drohem

"By the Hexarchs!" Jolly exclaims happily as he feels the holy magic heal his wounds.

"Alright," he says confidently, "everyone ready?  Let's go find our companion Baldue."

pbj44

Everyone nods and the group lights several fresh torches in addition to the powerful lantern.

OOC - just let me know the starting point for the search.

Drohem

OOC:  We'll start in the NW crypt and work our way around to the SW crypt.

pbj44

A quick glance into each crypt tunnel shows all to be empty save for their in-wall burial chambers.

Leading the way, Foromo begins a painstaking check of all the crypt area passages connected to this vast hall, careful not to tamper with the crypts themselves. All of your stonework instincts cry out that something is wrong about the crypt lid at the far end of the northeastern crypt passageway.

You sit close to it and stare at it for a bit before it hits you - it is the only surface in this whole area that is damp.

Go back to it, then carefully check it out...

OOC - An overview of the crypt areas with green dot indicating Northern "damp" wall location:

Examining this damp wall area more closely you see:

What do you do? Please let me know if anyone actually touches any of the in-wall crypt areas...

Drohem

"Peldic," Jolly says casually, "please get out the miner's pick from the pack."

He looks at Foromo with an inquisitive look and says, "do we have any other choice?"

"Hang on a minute...something is bothering me..."

A few quick questions...does the dampness have the same smell as the pool of water back in the other room??? Have I smelled cloves anywhere???

The dampness of this wall does indeed have the same rank odor as the pool of the previous room. That said, this whole crypt area stinks of "cloves", but this wet wall area smells of something...older.

Putting your ear to the wall you hear the distant sound of someone sobbing.

Drohem

"Alright," Jolly says, "Mergo, make ready with the flaming holy water.  I think we're dealing with the vampire here now.  Let's be prepared.  Beyla, you should also prepare a pot too."

pbj44

Shirl motions to Mergo, "Can you pour some of that concoction over my sword?

Beyla preps a bomb as well, nodding to Jolly, "On your command we'll unleash hell!"

foromo hefts his mighty Hammer in one hand, a Miners pick in the other...looking over to Jolly..."what do you think, pick or hammer??? I'm thinking hammer to bash our way in..."  He then looks over to Hurtag, hands him the pick..."OK, I hammer, you use the pick, I do first blow, you second...OK?"

Hurtag looks over at his Brother, "Get that Sticker ready..."

Hurmak set himself at the ready, holding his "Sticker" out like a pole arm...nods.

Foromo looks over to Jolly, that look of, Ready?
