Jolly, just as you finish speaking, a slight, almost imperceptable movement of the floor tells you a tale that makes your heart sink:

You are standing on a pressure plate - and it has at least partially activated...

Jolly immediately drops to the floor and lies flat on the ground.

Something in the floor makes a "ratcheting" sound and then everything grows quiet once more.

Baldue says, "HEY, WHAT'S THE HOLDUP UP THERE?"

Jolly rolls off the pressure plate and crouches as he says, "pressure plates in the floor. It looks like this hallway is trapped."

Pointing to the pressure plate in the floor that he found, he says, "don't step here."

He will touch the floor in front of him checking for more pressure plates and starting slowly making his way down the hallway in this fashion.

Moving carefully out of the tunnel and avoiding two more pressure plates, you see a large cobwebbed crypt area.

Other passages that you see seem to lead to yet more crypt halls.

Brooding over these graves is a large statue (OOC - marked by star on map)

At the foot of the statue's staircase is a large pile of Gold and Jewels, and a scabbarded sword that gleams in the gloom.

Foromo, after ensuring everybody else was in, closes the door behind him...then moves up fron to help Jolly. When we get to the crypt, takes a good look around..."Don't touch anything till we get a chance to check everything out..."

Beyla nods cooley, "This is a very tortured place. Stay ready for anything."

Baldue chortles at the sight of treasure, "Well, my my, payday has come at last!"

Shirl snorts with disgust, "Sure, go grab some!"

Baldue cackles, "Don't mind if I do!", and rubs his hands together in glee.

Jolly says thoughtfully, "alright, it looks like we've bought ourselves some time so let's use it wisely. I think that we should scout out the side passages before going near the statue."
