Mergo steps out in the open with his sling twirling and releases his stone at the apex of its arc.  The stone flies true and hits the creature square in the chest with force.

William roars with rage as the bullet strikes his chest! He scampers around the barrier to get at Foromo and Jolly! Shirl leaps forward and gets in line with the two of you!

OOC:  It looks like Hurtag and Hurmak don't have any missile weapons.  The only one left is Beyla who has a sling.

OOC - Totally forgot about Beyla's sling!

Beyla cooly eyes the raging giant and winds up and scores a crushing hit right between William's eyes for 2HP of damage! His eyes cross with the impact but he pushes on into the room -  ready to kill!

In the distance you can hear others running up, urged on by the cultured voice!

To the rear of the room you hear a door open!

OOC - Beyla rolled a perfect 20! Okay, GM rolls 2 for initiative!

Mergo deftly and quickly loads another stone into his sling, winds it up, and lets fly the missile at center mass of the huge humanoid.

Jolly moves in for the attack and tries to stab the humanoid in its upper thigh, but he misses due to trying avoid the giant's weapon arc.

OOC:  Mergo rolls a 15 and hits AC 4 for 2 damage.  Jolly rolls a 3 and misses.

Baldue screams in frustration as he frantically fiddles about reloading his crossbow, “OMG! This is taking FOREVER! We are so dead!”

Beyla Coolly  loads and fires again, swearing under her breath as Baldue jumping in her way causes her shot to miss badly!

Shirl swings a ferocious shot that fortunately for William caroms off his makeshift breastplate!

Hurmak and Hurtag both notice the door on the Southern wall opening!

William roars with rage and strikes Jolly (ATT = 18) for 4 HP of damage in savage display of brute force. Jolly is struck so hard that for a moment all of you are shocked to see him stagger to his feet!

William is weaving about drunkenly on his feet, eyes rolling wildly - looking to kill someone...anyone!

Something races in from the Southern door - directly at the back ranks of the party!



Hurtag and Hurmak can jump in it's path!

OOC- Sigh. GM rolls 1 for initiative.

(OOC - well, we also roll a 1 so here is my rolls and let me know how it goes...)

Hurmak takes his spear, grabbing the skull-crusher end for leverage, impales the beast and pins it against the wall (Hit 18 (AC2) for 6 dmg) while Hurtag tries to cut it's head off (Hit 8 (AC?) for 3 dmg)

OOC:  What AC does he hit?  Jolly is AC 0 against William.  It may not make a difference but avoiding 4 damage at 1st level is important. :)
