Baldue scrambles up the rope like a Chimp! Beyla holds her hands over Shirl's hurt arm, who sighs with relief as it is healed!

Beyla then approaches Jolly, "What should we do?"

Oh, and we're keeping an eye on the dead, just in case they start moving again...

"Everyone back into the room!" Jolly says in response to Beyla's question, "prepare yourselves for a fight!"

"Mergo," Jolly orders, "get some oil out of Peldic's pack and put those corpses to fire."

Looking at Baldue, Jolly orders, "Baldue, get that fancy new crossbow ready to fire!"

As he draws his sword and readies his shield, Jolly says, "I will stand just beyond the trapped floor and hopefully taunt them into it. The rest of you get behind the east wall and ready a volley of missile fire. On my command, step out and fire."

You hear a lot of feet approaching!

A cultured, authorative voice can be heard, "Search the room of Enlightenment! They were spotted coming this way."

"Master, I smell death ahead!"

"Very well, summon William to the front!"

"William, go forth and kill them!"

Something huge is now coming down the corridor!

Jolly, You see a foul looking creature dressed up in bits of armor. He carries a huge chopping weapon. Also, he stands about 10 feet tall. He will be on you in but a few seconds!

William approaches the area of the pit and begins to skirt around it by keeping along the left wall. He grunts with surprise at seeing the two of you and raises his sword to slaughter you!

OOC - GM rolls 5 for initiative!

William is carefully navigating around the pit as your companions spring into action!

Baldue steps out and screams, "OH SHIT, A GIANT!!!!" , and tries to fire as his helmet visor swings shut and his crossbow discharges into the ceiling! (From my fumble chart! Baldue just rolled a "1")
