OOC - I think you mean "Hurmak" thrusts and hits for 5HP of damage. Hurmak is the spear-wielding former acolyte who is currently behind Jolly and is fighting.

Hurmak skewers Jolly's opponent through the face and destroys him! First smoking - and then bursting into flames, he collapses, leaving Hurmak's spear-tip blazing and bubbling away.

Words - burning like fire - now become legible above the doors:

Seeing that Hurtag steps into line next to Foromo, Mergo loads another stone into his sling and twirls it slowly ready to let fly if anything comes through the doors.  Mergo's eyes go wide when he sees the warning in stone flair above the doors.

Jolly thrusts his sword at the creature attacking Norda but the creature moved at the last moment and the strike missed its mark.

Twisting away from Jolly's strike, the burning man spews flaming drool from his mouth and dives at Norda with teeth snapping! Grabbing her shoulders, he clamps his teeth down on her throat - she screams as he digs in to feed! She take 3HP of damage (ATT = 19)

The next monster rushes Jolly who is forced to duck wild swings (ATT = 2) that would have torn a Grizzly's head off!

Okay, go party!

Jolly attempts to stab the creature on Norda but with their twisting and struggle he misses his strike as he also is trying not to skewer Norda as well.

Norda screams and staggers back out of the line, crashing to the floor in the center of the room, the moster still biting at her throat! The party's ranks are broken! A burnt man croaches to spring into the new gap and confront Beyla!

Baldue screams like a child and hurls his handaxe at Norda and her attacker, missing them both (ATT= 4)!

Foromo, you and Hurtag can strike at Norda's attacker along with Mergo and Peldic!

Peldic draws his dagger quickly and attempts to stab the creature while holding the lighted torch in his off hand.  As he tries to avoid hitting Norda his strike misses.

Mergo quickly moves into action and deftly draws his short sword and moves to stab in a single graceful motion.  However, as Norda and the creature struggle his strike misses its mark as well.

Peldic and Mergo press their attack on the creature on Norda.  Peldic stabs at the creature with his dagger and misses as two the struggle on the ground.  However, in avoiding Peldic dagger thrust the creature rolls right into Mergo's sword thrust and the halfling man-at-arms feels that distinctive shunk! of steel burying into flesh.  

Jolly yells to his companions as he stabs at the nearest incoming creature, "hold the line!"

His attention was divided between the front line and checking the situation behind him, and he thrust missed its mark.  Although it did manage to give the creature pause and consider him a worthy threat.

Foromo - Takes his malatov in his Left Hand, and pulls out his Axe in his right...

Hurmak - "I'll save you, Fair Norda"...(Twirl, twirl, parry, whack, parry...)

Hurtag - flails some more with his sword, still looking away...

Norda's screams are now fading into powerless sighs as the newly wounded creature draped on top of her gibbers and bites deeply into her for 2 more hp.

Beyla's opponent swings wildly at her. She screams as her face is slashed for 1hp!

Jolly's new opponent rushing in slips in the flaming blood of Hurmak's kill and sets itself on fire - after but a moment it explodes, raining smoking black Ichor all about!

GM rolls 1 for new initiative!
