Karni, like her love, lays bleeding in the dirt.
The most beautiful peonies I ever saw ... were grown in almost pure cat excrement.

So far:

Bright Feather - standing Ready watching Karnath (is there a trigger you want here?)

Alric - stays still and makes an active Perception check for hidden physical threats (go ahead and roll it).

Karnath - waxes poetic introspectively

Caden - ?

Hanalee - ?

You know, people keep comparing non-TSR D&D to deck-building in Magic: the Gathering. But maybe it\'s more like Katamari Damacy. You keep sticking shit on your characters until they are big enough to be a star.

Hanalee struggles to move her battered body, and attempts to stand and limp away from the graveyard if she can. As far away as she can...

OOC: Are you calling this out to your Goddess?

It is obvious Alric is very concerned, looking about for danger.

If Karnath is no longer struggling against herself Bright Feather will attempt to bandage her and stabilize her if needed.
Don\'t mess with cats we kill wizards in one blow.;)

Which way? Back West to the Main Trail, East down mountain, or North to the Old Graveyard? (You can go South but you'll just be visiting the expanding Eastern perimeter of the New Graveyard.)

There is nothing! If it is an invisible physical monster there's no trace of rustled dust, nearby unexplainable footprints, strange 6th party sounds, or anything. Something crazy happened, but something crazy happened within your circle of friends alone.

And now Bright Feather puts away her bow and attends to Karnath's wounds. Hanalee, she's alive!, is wincing away to the nearest exit from this scene. Caden is currently saying nothing.

This leaves you with uncomfortable questions...

Artifacts of Amber

After having given finding an enemy his bets shot (Literally) Alric looks to his new found friends.

"Hey Guys what the hell is going on? Did you get got, by what got Mal?"

"Shit Mal." Alric looks back down the hill for Mal, even though he knows he cannot see him from here but hopes since whatever was effecting his friends has ended perhaps Mal will just be trotting up the trail now.

Alric is high enough to see his friend Mal, if he left him out in the open. Hundred foot slope is still at a 40+ degree angle, so perhaps 60' high and then another @100' to your last spot. If you hid him, well, you'd be fighting against your own Stealth work. But it'd be easy for you, and with Adv, as you know where to look.

However it would be easier to just bring your friends on down to Mal and help. (Though lingering at your hunting blind does not seem to be the crowd favorite choice anymore.)

If only he had time to Hide Mal. Seeing him sit so still out in the open like that. Still I can keep one eye on him and ready my bow if it is needed.

His friends would help or friends they were not. But still priorities. Gotta find the trail before you can kill the deer.

OOC: You all feel "not in combat rounds now." The sense of last scene's imminent danger seems to have passed. (Trust that as you will. A healthy paranoia after that is not unwarranted.) You are welcome to resolve your other pressing issues between yourselves. You don't need me to orchestrate this part.

Let me know what you are doing, otherwise we'll continue with the rest. We'll just then leave your inactive PC repeating their last action. I'll flavor the scene as you act simultaneously to keep a shared chronological & spatial record.
