This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The Butcher

"Hah! I knew it. Fuckers." Kane moves towards the open door, rifle ready, but does not cross it before taking a look at what's beyond.

Drohem

As soon as he hears someone talking in S'lettexik-sa, Smokey looks through the porthole of the jammed door for any movement in the shuttle bay while at the same time he sniffs the air for any scents entering the room from the newly opened door.

"Squirters," he growls in a deep and low tone to himself as he grips the prybar in his massive paw.

Black Vulmea

As the soldiers peer into the compartment past the hatch, Sal searches for the station deckplans, to identify the refueling controls.

Having more or less made sense of the interface at this point, you poke about further and learn a few important things on that front.

First, authorization is required from the bridge in order to initiate refueling for "great-polyp class vessels."

Second, the system's fancy self-reconfiguring docking arm is having problems making sense of your fuel coupling.

Third, that's OK, because it appears there's a problem with the master valve at the main hydrogen tank in the southwest quadrant of the station.

The computer helpfully recommends a series of possible profanities calling into question the budding status of one's genesis, the number of folds in one's radial symmetry, and comparing the computer's systems to barnacle adhesive.

It is a short section of hallway, about 20 ft. long to the far wall, with a single broken teleport pad at the end of it. However, it connects to a continuing hallway going to the left immediately at the door.

Sal records the information from the security console with his wrist computer and studies the display for a moment.

ooc: which is closer to our present location, the hydrogen tank or the bridge?

The bridge is at the mid-point along the eastern side, while the hydrogen tank is in a room in the southwest corner.

Hydrogen storage lies at the far end of Landing Bay 1 from here, while the bridge/control room is surrounded largely by engineering stations.

"You want me to bust open the door, Skipper?" Smokey asks while looking through the small port hole in the door into the shuttle bay.

Black Vulmea

Sal quickly goes over the situation with the others. "So, gotta fix the problem at the H-tank and jury-rig somethin' to fit the coupling to refuel. The controls are on the bridge, and if that greetin' is anythin' to go by, somethin's prolly there that speaks Squiddo.

"I'm thinkin' we tackle the bridge first," he finishes. The engineer looks around for consensus.

"I'm good with this, cap'n", Kane responds without tearing his eyes and his aim from the hallway beyond the open door.

Vargold

"Agreed, the bridge," gulps Faraday, and he quietly moves closer to Smokey.
