Kur'Uk arrived at the Hole's airlock with his Fiberweave suit on, Rebreather checked and ready to go, backpack full of gear, and prybar in hand.

Smokey sniffs the air and says in a rasping voice but jovial tone, "cubs no worry, Smokey will get honey while bees chase cubs."

As the door hisses open, there's the scent of stale recycled air, the faintly metallic tang of air that's been recirculated again and again for untold ages, hitting the nose with an aluminum bite even through the rebreather masks.

The room beyond is a small one, just a control panel that's probably for security and visitor check-in, and two doors, one left and one right of the airlock.

Kane takes the lead, pulse rifle in his right hand and electric torch in his left, and from the door he scans the room pointing both weapon and lightsource at every corner while advancing as carefully and silently as possible.

Assuming nothing else is found, he nods his head towards the control panel. "Anyone fancy taking a look?"
