This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Bottom line: OGL will still be there. That's a quote from the old bald dude on the stage.

It did sound like it might be changed, though in what manner I do not know.

Zach will get the names of the designers shortly.

The online tools and DI sound actually totally ...irrelevant... to me.

D&D insider?  I'm in.  It looks all fucked up, but I'm in...

EDIT: Whoops...now I'm getting service unavailable as well.

OK, this is Zack again.  I'll have the names shortly (I hope), but it wasn't Mearls, though he did appear on the design team.  Hell, EVERYBODY at WotC was on that design team list, I think.

And yeah, they did say "Virtual electronic version". :p

EDIT:  It was awful light and a bad angle, but I'll post what I got of their new online DM tools.

Same here, Settembrini.

But that's not a bad thing. Saves $$$.

Everyone's trying to get on it, I think.  They said it would be up right after the  meeting.

Yeah, but they stress the DI.
So if the DI is irrelvant, the worsst possible of all things could happen:

They *gasp* made an economically bad decision.
I fear this.

I mean I´m all excited about 4th Edition, I want it to succeed. But I see not why it should if it´s main shtick was the DI.

Several folks just walked past, bitching about how WotC had told them 4e wouldn't be out for 2 year at the D&D convention.
