This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: Willmark;992933Yeah there are some game stores where I live where you'll get a semi-ok deal but nothing like walking out of a garage sale with a wood grain od&d box for 50 cents ;)

Yeah, my best deal was the yard sale James Bond set I mentioned up the thread somewhere.

I once found a huge collection of RIFTS books, at a gaming store in Vancouver, that were secondhand but all in very good shape. They were priced ridiculous cheap, like between $2-8 Canadian.

Best deal would actually be a firsthand deal for Black Box D&D from KB Toys for $5 dollars on clearance.  Best secondhand deal would probably be the 20 something dollars, including shipping, I spent off Ebay for multiple things:  The original cover 1st ed. AD&D PHB & DMG, an Unearthed Arcana, and a module which I traded for a BECMI Masters D&D DM Screen.  I found the listing tagged under Electronics.  You can't even get the same PDFs for that even with the recent reduced bundle and Unearthed Arcana.
