This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

From what I hear, most of them were.  Even Gygax smoked quite a bit back in the day...until that heart attack a few years ago.

The gamer's world has suffered a loss.

While his life may have been somewhat short, he spent it doing something he enjoyed and that was both noticed and appreciated by his fellows.
RPGPundit is a fucking fascist asshole and a hypocritial megadouche.

I never said it or posted it where he might have heard or read it, but now that it's to late I'll say it anyway.

Thank you Mr. Moldvay.

Ditto all of the above.  RIP.

It should be added that this news is still pending an obituary, but I guess outside of mistaken identity I don't see why anyone would go out of their way to hoax this.

4e definitely has an Old School feel. If you disagree, cool. I won\'t throw any hyperbole out to prove the point.
