Nice! I've been awaiting this one  :)
I'll be purchasing it very soon and it will certainly see use at some point.

I've considered using Baghdad as a homebase city and running a converted version of the adventure in Morten Braten's (wish he put out his stuff for OSR) 3.5e Mesopotamia book. Of course, the setting would have to modified somewhat from the bronze age one in the book to a Medieval one.

Pundit eventually you should do an entire city book it would fill a need in the hobby imo.

I own Baghdad During the Abbasid Caliphate by Guy Le Strange, which is quite neat. Will you be doing a guide for Basra? The city plays a big role in the 1001 Nights, but it is harder to find good information about it and the modern city is at a completely different location than the Abbasid one.

Most likely not, as it is not on the Silk Road.

I was just about to buy the printed copy of Sword and Caravan...I'm ASSuming this fits in without a hitch, correct?

Also why did you switch from Roman to Arabic numerals...because it's BAGHDAD?

EDIT: Also, I've gotten more use out of Lion and Dragon than any other book I've bought the past ten years, so thanks for that.
It takes considerable knowledge just to realize the extent of your own ignorance.

I have also found parts of Lion & Dragon, to be quite useful.  I haven't embraced the entire game, per se; but certain sections are plug and play ready for other games.

I'm very glad to hear that about Lion & Dragon. That's awesome.
As for the numbers, it's still a Roman Numeral on the cover, not an arabic number.

And yes, this is the city of Baghdad at the precise time in the Sword & Caravan setting; in fact, the reason I wrote it is because my PCs in my own S&C campaign spent a very long time in Baghdad, which obliged me to do the research on it. Some of the adventure seeds are based on actual adventures they had there.

That's definitely intentional; I wanted it to be useful to take piecemeal for your other OSR products. The Old School Companion 1 and the Gonzo Fantasy Companion are much the same.
