This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Worst game world to live in?

As a fair counterpoint to my thread about what game world you'd like to live in, I guess I'll ask what game world you would most NOT want to live in.

For me, any cyberpunk/dark future one in general.
RPGPundit is a fucking fascist asshole and a hypocritial megadouche.

Year of the Zombie for a distant 3rd! I say distant because of all it's politicians having the election promise of "A Wild Turkey in every pot."

Fuck that.  Every other shopkeeper in Synnibar is a 60th level tiger-fucker or some such.  Who gives a shit about wingbears shooting lasers from their eyes when you can karate chop them from the sky with your discarded foreskin and the Venderant Nalaberong?

Old World, baybee.

Anywhere you can take a midnight piss and discover you've grown a miniature you from your forehead is the worst place I care to think of.

Mmmm... let's see.

Cyberpunk, no... I'd like to live in it... infact Blade Runner is my fav movie. Even if I understand that actually living in it... mmm.

Kult? Yep... sometimes I think that there could actually be something true in Kult cosmology, in bleak worlds just after that rusted door in that old abandoned warehouse... that would really suck.

Living in a universe in which the Old Ones of the Cthulhu Mythos actually exist would be quite creepy.

But for being depressing, living in the world of Midnight has to be the worst (the Warhammer Old World is Eden in contrast).

Exalted...where as a normal mortal you truly are insignificant. The revolution will never come becaue a legion of mortals could never stand against a single god king. So you live out your life hoping the Exalts will make life easier for you.

Any post apocolyptic world based on FGU's Aftermath rule set- I'd spend my whole life counting bullets and trying to factor in all the modifieirs.

Beaten.  I'd be a survivor in YotZ before I'd be a non-heroic mortal in Creation.
I have a theory, it could be witches, some evil witches!
Which is ridiculous \'cause witches they were persecuted Wicca good and love the earth and women power and I'll be over here.

But there are ways, man!  Like I said in the "best world" thread, you can join the Gunzosha and try for Exaltation!

Isn't a (painfully short) lifetime of endless wuxia fighting so much better than hiding out in a shopping man, breathing through a pair a tighty-whities you soaked in Pine Sol?

Warhammer 40k as an Imperial Guard member or human civilian on one of the Hive Worlds. Ugh.

...Or any Christian RPG, for that matter.
