This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The Evil DM

I  need another campaign project like I need a hole in my head but this one just came to me this morning and its been bubbling ever since; Now this is mostly for old school types who enjoy a little 2nd ed AD&D once in a while, so please save your D&D bashing comments for another thread.
I was thinking of combining the Hollow World campaign written for the Mystara setting and The Masque of the Red Death Supplement for Ravenloft.
Has anyone tried this? I think it might be kind of cool. All the hard work is done! It's just "Plug_and_play" so to speak. In fact the genre is perfect since Conan Doyle's "The Lost World" is set in the Victorian era, and so is Masque of the Red Death.
Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading. –Source Unknown

I think that would be a blast.  D&D players instinctively seek comfort in orcs and dinos and big stone castles; shake 'em up with a company of Hobgoblin grenadiers in service to a Dwarf railroad.
teamchimp: I'm doing problem sets concerning inbreeding and effective population size.....I absolutely know this will get me the hot bitches.
