This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Don't tell that to Steve Gallacci. You'd be likely to get a broken nose. The man reportedly HATES furries.

I worked with Gallacci before Sanguine found out and yanked the agreement out from under me. Then proceeded to completely botch their Albedo RPG.

Nice guy. Quiet. But had a sense of humor that came out in some of his works. But much like Peter Cushing he took the death of his wife pretty hard.

Bemusingly at Gen Con I'd find him in a booth next to White Wolf's selling silver bullets.

Oof, death of a spouse will fuck anyone but a sociopath up. I followed Steve Gallacci because I love his art, I only know bits and pieces of his personal life.
"Meh."

There's a Galacci oil painting on the wall right beside me, he's a talented guy.  I've only briefly interacted with him at various cons, but he always seemed nice enough.  And yeah, his comic is military sci-fi that happens to have animal people in it rather than what is generally thought of as "furry" in more recent years.  At least I don't recollect anything particularly titillating in there.

His work with ink based watercolors is still amazing and the Albedo comic gave several now famous comic artists their first appearances as it was originally an anthology book.

The Erma Felna series is indeed pretty tame, aside from the war part.

He also worked with I believe Taral Wayne on the Beatrix Farmer superhero comic way back. So you get Waynes more funny animal style interspersed with Gallacci's more grounded style.

Not like TBP cares. They hate everything. Even themselves it seems.
