So this weekend was the 12th anniversary of World of the Last Sun. Every two weeks for the last 12 years we have played that campaign. It's produced two full books and a bunch of other supplements.
So in honor of the anniversary, this is a thread to ask questions about the campaign, or anything to do with it, past, present or future. I reserve the right to tell you to go fuck yourself, though.
Over the course of the campaign so far, what were the most impactful rules changes you implemented?
Hmm. Well, there's some setting-specific rules: dwarf, elf and halfing are classes, but those races don't HAVE to be that class. Clerics must be pure humans (no mutants) or dwarves.
There's very few pure humans in the setting, and there's mutant generation rules (printed in the Gonzo Fantasy Companion).
I also set up rules for spellburn that are slightly different. Characters can still spellburn the same amounts, but for every different ability score they want to burn from, apart from the first, it adds one round to the casting time.
