The guy who spent months making it clear that "this game is not for you" to white gamers is now broke, and says you're racist if you don't buy his game.

Excellent video, Pundit! I enjoyed listening to your commentary very much. You made very strong points.
The racist game-designer clown of Coyote & Crow seems also to be woefully ignorant concerning American history--and Cherokee Tribal History as well. In particular, his anti-white racism wouldn't fit in well with more than a few of the greatest Cherokee Chieftains and tribal leaders--of whom were often HALF WHITE. They married white people, had children with white people, learned English, and worked tirelessly to not only ensure the continued urvival of the Cherokee Tribe--but also embraced the reality that the Cherokee Tribe's future was to embrace the culture of white Americans. They were very proud of their efforts, hard work, and sacrifices. They generally believed that the only worthwhile--and realistic--future for the Cherokee Tribe was to embrace the white culture as much a was practical, and to encourage mutual brotherhood and friendship.
I'm also a customer. I have purchased Arrows of Indra, as well as other books. Arrows of Indra is a good book, too!
I'm looking forward to getting Sword & Caravan.

Agreed SHARK. One of the things that amazes me is the amount of posters who know history on this site versus say TBP. On TBP they all seem revisionists.

Will there be a huwhite supremacist snipper texting him to tell him he's in the crosshairs of his scope but not firing?
This guy MIGHT not be as ignorant as we assume, he might just be a racist AND a white supremacist that thinks ONLY by wipping out the Europeans could the other cultures progress.
Which means he ignores where many of the inventions that allowed the Europeans to build their Empires originated from:
Telescopes, Advanced Math, Powder/guns/canons...

Except in the show it'll be a heartfelt success story where all the problems he faced weren't because of poor management, but a result of hwite trolls review-bombing him in internet comment sections and occasionally accosting him in the street while he's helping the homeless indigenous population build wigwams or something.
So now the creator of Coyote & Crow, gets to eat Crow himself.

Amazing how excluding a large group of purchasing individuals because they aren't the right "race".
I thought we got past this in the 1960s...

What's old is new again and because those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it?
Having engaged extensively with this topic and the posts in question, I can say confidently that Connor didn't say you're racist for not buying it. He says if you don't buy it for any other reason othrr than you're uncomfortable pretending to be someone of a different race, that's a bit racist.

Look, if you don't want to play C&C because you're not into science fantasy or you think the rules are too crunchy, or you don't like d12s or alternate history RPGs aren't your thing – go on with your bad self. You do you. But if the only thing holding you back is that don't feel "comfortable" pretending to be a person with browner skin than you? Even when Indigenous folks are literally trying to offer you the game? Then you're the problem. Sort your shit.

What an amazing set of mental gymanastics one must make in order to call people who don't buy your books racist because they don't want to buy your shitty furry make believe game.

To be fair, the general premise actually sounds pretty cool. A fantasy sci-fi world where you play as the descendants of native americans in an alternate present/future? Unless you don't care for fantasy sci-fi, there's nothing uncool about that. It's just too bad the infusion of identity politics spoiled it.
I also love the irony on display.
The Super-woke are afraid to play the game because they've been beaten over the head with "cultural appropriation" for years, then get called racist anyway. Also, the developer is chomping at the bit to exploit capitalism by selling a book that celebrates the "good ole days" before the evil colonists came and introduced them to concepts like currency and property rights. I wonder if Connor will trade me a copy of the book for some beaver pelts?
To one of RPGPundit's points, a moderator at TBP has put up for sale a mint copy of Coyote and Crow, because of course it's not going to get played. Either he got his virtue points for backing the KS, or another backer sold his "used" copy to Third Kingdom, and in typical self-absorbed fashion he's going to do his bit to depress whatever remaining demand there is for the book.

It's put up in his used section for a ridiculous markup, so it doesn't look to me like a copy bought for retail purposes.

Great listen Pundit. Right on all counts.
If you play Coyote & Crow...you're guilty of cultural appropriation and "redface"
If you don't play Coyote & Crow...you're guilty of racism.
If you kick a whiny leftist bitch in the dick...you get to play whatever the fuck you want!
