This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I saw this in a store while I was away on holidays and I let it pass.  It's a 17th century based RPG that has very similar mechanics to the original Storyteller systems.   I let it passed because I had already blown a tone of money on gaming stuff and was kind of on the fence.  Now I'm kind of regretting not getting it, like an itch I can't scratch.

So can someone scratch the itch on it.  I've looked around the net and can't find any good reviews on it beyond some minor rabid fanboy chat that doesn't amount to much.  So with that all out of the way.  Does anyone here have it?

So far, I've let that one go by, as well. I love the material, but I'm already a big Savage Worlds fan, and with Solomon Kane being just around the corner, I figured I would go that route.
Employment Counselor: So what do you like to do outside of work?
Oblivious Gamer: I like to play games: wargames, role-playing games.
EC: My cousin killed himself because of role-playing games.
OG: Jesus, what was he playing? Rifts?

Intriguing premise.  Alt-history.  I can do without the alt-history.  Same goes for Aces & Eights.

Agreed. Not so high on the alt-history, but a streamed oldschool storyteller with a semi-original setting? Subscribe me to the newsletter.

And while my phone is an important tool for my daily life, it is not a life-saving device that KEEPS MY HEART FROM EXPLODING. Fuck, Tony. Get your shit together, pal."
