Pundits new video -

So you title a thread after Pundit's video and then link to your own...
Can't decide which is funnier: How underhanded this is, or the fact you felt Pundit's brand was worth doing something like this.

Hey, at least he posted a link to Pundit's video.
Given that I am not looking to sell anything,
and not looking to promote my channel.
I forget that people assume that is the intent when something like this is done.
I posted it, like someone responding to the topic, it was just not in text form,
instead my response was in audio form.
Let me be clear,
don't subscribe to my channel, please do not listen to my videos.
To make this more clear, I am editing the link to my video out of the first post.
I hope that helps.
I know that losing WotC will not kill DnD thanks to the OGL and on the other hand it will be sad to see them go not with a bang but with the whimper of a non-binary dwarf that may or may not have dark vision.

Greetings!
Hello, CondorDM! I appreciate you posting Pundit's new video. I didn't know he put a new one out yet, so that's very cool. I listened to Pundit's video, and as usual, Pundit is right on target. Great video.
I also appreciated your own link to your video commentary, which was very topical and related to Pundits video on the same topic. I thought your video was thoughtful and interesting, as well, CondorDM! I also *subscribed* to your channel, just like I am a subscriber to Pundit's channel.
I don't understand how you did anything inappropriate. I thought it was related, and fine.
Good job, CondorDM! Make more video chats!
Semper Fidelis,
SHARK

The OGL, and OSR just keep on giving....

Can we have the link to your video back? I'd like to have a look. :)
I am sad to see Pundit fall down the Comicsgate hole. For I can not see any failure of comics when it produces things like Saga, Monstress, Locke & Key on a regular basis. Rather Comicsgate is a sad movement of failed characters.
And the same for DnD. I have a hard time to see any of the tendencies that Pundit is talking about in the video.

There are non-binary shield dwarf berserkers (http://www.enworld.org/forum/showthread.php?657753-WotC-Considering-NPC-Stat-Format-Change) under every bed!!
Ethan van Sciver made over seven hundred thousand dollars due to Cyberfrog variant covers of issue one. Some failure there RoyR.
Seriously get a clue RoyR.

Ethan van Sciver is monetizing the idea of comicsgate, and he is good at that.
But he has not produced the comic yet. I will be impressed when the first issue is out, and he does rise the same amount of money for the second.

When you stop posting like it's an F'ing poem with those odd paragraph breaks, you'll be more clear.

Oh God, not Chris - he was the best one!

Such an odd man. May end up being an NPC in one of my games. Because odd NPCs.
Shawn you trying to insult me?.
Are you still bitter from our last interaction?.

This is what moving the goalposts looks like folks, and once the first issue is out I'm sure people like this will move them once again in a desperate attempt to make a point.
In the meantime, for comparison:
- Black (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kwanzer/black-1) ($91,973 | 2775 backers)
- Black: Remastered (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kwanzer/black-kickstarter-gold) ($9,389 | 235 backers)
- White (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kwanzer/white-0) ($30,446 | 954 backers) Currently running with 15 days to go and still hasn't made its goal of $39,999. Kicktraq projections put it at $65,576.
- A stupid comic about a frog fighting giant insects (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/ethan-van-sciver-s-cyberfrog-bloodhoney-comic-book#/) ($538,456 | 8,566 backers)
- Variant cover of the same damn thing (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/ethan-van-sciver-s-cyberfrog-bloodhoney-comic-book--2#/) ($90,378 | 2,048 backers)
- Yet another variant cover of the same damn thing (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/cyberfrog-bloodhoney-team-up-cover#/) ($79,181 | 1,300 backers) Currently running with 27 days to go.
And even more relevant:
- Harlem Unbound (https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/218062/Harlem-Unbound): Silver seller (top 8.32%)
- Lion and Dragon (https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/226022/Lion--Dragon): Electrum seller (top 3.7%)
That's for #DriveThruRPG. On #RPGNow Harlem Unbound doesn't even rank, and Lion and Dragon sits at Silver. And that's
after the latter lost its previous sales ranking and a month of promotion due to being mysteriously pulled from OBS (http://therpgpundit.blogspot.com/2018/01/rpgnow-sabotaged-lion-dragon-what-you.html).
Now for the record I think Harlem Unbound is a better product, and I fail to see the appeal of #CyberFrog, but I'm not going to use that as a basis for determining my reality or anyone else's. Because taste does not determine truth.
CondorDM, please feel 100% free to post your video links and set up threads talking about your opinion on other videos.
The oddness here is the title of your thread. Next time, list it as "CondorDM responds to RPGPundit's Video", or something else that ensures there isn't confusion about what's going on.
And you are welcome to pimp your YT channel.

Good points, my friend! CondorDM's channel was interesting, relevant, and thoughtful. Nothing wrong at all with pimping his channel.

Hello, RoyR. I've noticed that you do not post here on this forum very often, nor do you have an extensive history of posting here. I also have observed that nearly all of your posts are negative, abrasive, and critical towards everything Pundit says, and does. I'm left wondering if you consistently oppose Pundit, apparently believe he is an idiot, and is wrong on nearly everything he talks about, why are you here? What is your purpose in posting the frequent cascade of negativism and criticism? Your contributions, such as they are, seem to be specifically limited to such negative and critical commentary.
By the way, I am certainly not some kind of "thought-police". No one here is required to agree with Pundit on anything, or censored in any way for criticism. Your contributions stood out to me particularly because it doesn't seem like you post in any other kind of thread that doesn't involve being negative and critical towards Pundit. I find that to be somewhat strange.
Have a nice day!
Semper Fidelis,
SHARK

I said that "Rather Comicsgate is a sad movement of failed characters.", not that they had all failed in business. That goalpost was placed by you.
And I stated that I would be impressed if EvS managed to repeat the feat. I would still consider him as a failed character though.

Wow, those goalposts moved sooner than I expected
Another favorite tactic of the #CtrlLeft is to create their own ambiguous terminology (like 'failed character') and then fail to define it. And so we get this weird situation where the subject becomes immune to counterargument because we don't actually
know what their opinion is, and they can retroactively change what they (and
you)
mean at any time.
Anyway, since #SJWs use popularity and following as a measure of ones moral worth, I'll continue to apply exactly the same standards to their opponents.
There really wouldn't be any problem at all with the OP posting his own video (as long as it's RPG related and doesn't violate any of the scant other rules of the site). But the similarity of the thread title to the title of my own video is the only issue here.
So CondorDM, I want to be clear, you are not in trouble here and I'm not offended (glad you thought my video was worthwhile), I'm only closing this thread to avoid confusion. That's it.
